Issue:

For some reason, the Steam overlay doesn't work for me in Endless Legend. I've made sure that the Steam overlay is officially enabled in the Properties section after right clicking EL in the game list. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to make a difference for me. So weird! Anyone knows what could be going on? Thanks.

CPU: Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67 Ghz

RAM: 6 GB

GPU: Geforce 570 GTX

Resolution: 1920 x 1080

I've redeemed the keys that I got from the Founder Pack.



PS: the game also started in windowed mode by default, but I managed to fix that through the xml in My Documents.

The Steam overlay works okay for me on shift-tab. Have you changed the key that activates it? Maybe there's some conflict with an Endless Legend key bind?

Thanks for your reply. I haven't changed the keys as far as I know. Shift-tab works fine in other Steam games. When I press Shift-Tab while in my EL game, it goes to the city screen. This is because apparantly, the Tab key triggers that action. When I press Shift-Tab while in the main menu, nothing happens at all.



Update: FYI, the overlay does work when I switch to 32 bit mode (under the beta tab in Steam).
