Since the last update (I think, didn't check the previous one out) I can't seem to be able to start a multiplayer game. I create a lobby, get my friends in and start the game, only to be greeted with about a minute of loading screen (stuck on 'networking') followed by a message window stating:

Disconnected from Server(TimedOut: 0x07,0x00) and the option to return to the main menu.

Same issue, when starting a multiplayer match it's stuck at networking then crashes with the error "Disconnected from server because of a timed out session (0x07,0x00). Click OK to return to lobby."

I'm not totally sure what causes it but I suspect the problem is linked to the "*\Documents\Endless Legend\" directory because even upon deleting the game and reinstalling it persisted, it was only after I deleted a few leftover registry entries and the "*\Documents\Endless Legend\" before reinstalling did the error go away.

It needs further study to determine the source and solution but my solution was as follows:

1. Backup any saves, mods, custom characters, etc. from the directory. (I only saved my custom characters.)

2. (I suggest you skip this step your first try, instead uninstalling it normally through Steam first.) Uninstall using IObit Advanced Uninstaller ( http://www.iobit.com/advanceduninstaller.php ) and CAUTIOUSLY remove just the leftover registry entries pertaining to "Endless Legend" (the files it catches are from "*\steamapps\common\", DO NOT CHECKBOX THESE, IT WILL BREAK YOUR OTHER GAMES!!!) **Note: This may be optional, you might want to skip this step and try 3 before trying this.**

3. Delete the entire "*\Documents\Endless Legend\" directory.

4. Reinstall through steam. (I opted for the 32 bit "Beta")

5. Restore backed up files.

After that you should be good to go with everything you had before. Hopefully with a bit of trial and error through this process we can narrow down a proper solution. smiley: smile

This is exactly the issue I have, and I'm trying the solution now. I will report if it works for me. (Yes, I know this is 6 years old, I'm trying everything)
