I just notice that the cloud save game made on OSX are not visible and accessible on windows...

Why ?



Don't tell me they're not compatible... because I managed to find on OSX where there are stored and copied them on Save folder on windows (Documents/Endless Legend).

It's annoying to have to do this while the Cloud Save exists...

Cloud Save must be able to gave osx savegame on windows and vice versa !





Do you intend to correct this problem ?

Hi,



It's a Steam limitation about Steam Auto-cloud and the cross-platform syncing, as we are not using the application directory to stock the save files. We will have a look into a workaround, I'm adding your suggestion to our improve list.

Thanks for both your answers I hope you'll find a way to make the mac save and windows save be available in both OS



(I have this nickname for a long time since I read the Heretics of Dune and Chapterhouse : Dune I like so much this character , and It reminds me another Miles, with another name Vorkosigan)

I can confirm the same problem. I would like to mention that one of your competitors, AOW 3, is cross platform on Steam (OSX and PC) and I can play my Steam saves from my macbook and PC without any issues. They had this problem early on, but they fixed it over time as well so I'm certain it's possible.



Thanks for looking into this. Would love to be able to play my saves on both my devices without having to copy/paste files to Dropbox.

I'm gutted AOW 3 games works perfectly on win 10 when i got ES and EL as replacement to that game now played it to death and amp don't support win10 and its not even like they are focusing on it from what they have said they just want push on win8 supported games

In fact, we are collecting more data about users having issues with Win 10. Because our QA team has tested EL with Win10, and they have no issue for now.

endless space works fine until I wish to save or load games kind gutted as thought it had no issues and lost all my progress

Generally speaking 'upgrades' of win10 might make games fail because when you upgrade a lot of the redistributables are uninstalled or unregistered as part of the upgrade to Win10.



To fix 99.99999% of 'my game no longer works on Windows 10'



1) Run Steam as an Administrator



2) Re-run any redistributables. VCredist, XNAredist, Dxsetup (yes you have to do this!), UEredist, etc



For Endless Legend specifically go to



\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Endless Legend\_CommonRedist



And re run all 3 of the directx, dotnet, vcredist stuff



3) Go into the exe directly and run in win7 compatibility mode



Doing these steps will fix almost all games in Windows 10



I ran EL for several hours on my ultrabook Intel HD4400 so it definitely works in Windows 10.
