This game usually runs well, but I have this really long game where some of my cities have 60 population and the boroughs to match, and I'm down to 3 fps, which is to say, unplayable now.



I'd really like to finish the game, however.



Any tips?

Win 7 64-bit Ultimate edition

8 gb (2x4) DDR3-1866

Intel i7 2600k @ 4.4 Ghz

2 x GTX 670 2gb in SLI



EDIT: Actually, when I first load the game, it runs very well (over 40fps) but the moment I zoom out, the fps crash to 3. And setting everything to the minimum does not alter this, still 3 fps.

I wanted to add the save, but it's 1.02mb and the board says max is 976kb?

Did you convert save game to zip file ?
