Performance issues after upgrading from GTX670 to 970

Recently i upgraded my system from a NVidia GeForce GTX670 to a GTX970, and now i have massive performance issues with Endless Legend :-/

With my old graphics card this game runs very smooth with maximum details, but with the much faster GTX970 it's mostly unplayable. Especially the scrolling is terrible, it jumps more than it scrolls.

First i thought perhaps this new card is too fast so i clocked it down, activated V-Sync etc. but it doesn't helped. The latest driver is installed, i have enough memory and disc space, the system temperatures are between 30 and 40°C (watercooled), and even games like Fallout 4 running excellent.

Anyone any idea where's here the problem and how to solve it? Can't really understand why such an relatively old game makes such isses?!

Thanks in advance for any help smiley: smile

Is there any support here or a possibility to write directly to someone responsible? It would be nice to have an answer why this issue occur, and most important, how to solve it!

It.s helpful for the devs to follow the instructions in this thread : /#/endless-legend/forum/13-tech-support/thread/5393-reporting-an-issue

There are several reports of bad performance since patch 1.3.0. The devs are looking into it.

Did you play 1.3.0 on your old graphics card, or did you first upgrade the GPU and then start playing the new version of the game ?

Yes, i played about 5 hours with my old GTX670, than i got a new GTX970, and after the change these performance drops occured. Before the game runs very smooth and without any issue. The point for me now is: my 2 hour trial period on Steam is over, and whether i can't give the game back NOR play it anymore because of this bug! I still posted my DxDiag-file in the other thread so i think it might not be necessary to do this here again. And other files? Which e.g.? I don't have any savegames, i just managed to finish the tutorial. So i put everything i know in my opening post here. If the devs had any REAL support, which i could communicate with, that would be fine. But obviously they decided to throw all of their customers with issue in this forum instead. Not that anybody of the devs had asked here anything! I don't know if they really exist or just ignoring all problems but i am not the only one with a GTX970 who is suffering this. It would be REALLY glad to have ANY response from the devs, and if it's a simple "we're working on it" smiley: frown

I had a gtx Gigabyte Windforce GTX 670 before I switched to a Gigabyte Windforce GTX 9700 too. however I don't have the problems. My game runs smooth.

I have a similar system like you, i7-4790K@4.4ghz 16gb ram, 2x 1920*1200, 250gb ssd, 4gb raid10. Maybe it's driver problems from the old card. I wiped my system and did a complete new OS install, so that is why maybe I don't have any issues.

You probably already tried but otherwise I would do a clean driver install, make sure to really remove any old remants of the previous drivers, and maybe delete any Endless Legend configuration file.
