Hello!



I like game very much, but what really anoys me - very low FPS rate. I have rather good hardware, so can't figure out what is the case.



My hardware:

MotherBoard: Asus P8Z77-V (2 PCI, 2 PCI-E x1, 3 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR3 DIMM, Audio, Video, Gigabit LAN)

CPU: QuadCore Intel Core i7-2600, 3500 MHz

RAM: 8132 Mb (DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM)

Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4095 Mb (Vendor - EVGA)

Sound: Sound Blaster ZxR



NVidia driver:

Gerorce Game ready driver version 359.06 Release date: 2015-12-01



OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate

OS Build: Multiprocessor Free (64-bit)

OS Version: 6.1.7601 (Win7 RTM)



Buyed and running game in Steam.

Game Version 1.3.0 S3 (64 bit) with Frozen Fangs, Guardians, Shadows

Screen resolution: 1920 x 1200



Framerate always extremely low, but this specific undermentioned rates obtained at turn 102, difficulty - normal. Map is explored almost fully, many cities and objects present. Restarting, reloading game/pc does not change anything.

Resulting frame rate (FPS) for different video presets (Measured by FRAPS):

"Fantastic" - 12

"Beautiful" - 15

"Good" - 16

"Simple" - 16

"Fast" - 16

"Fastest" - 26

Quite bad for GTX 970, eh?..



Tried to change "Depth of view" and "Postprocessing" options - both have no significant effect.

But problem persists in every game I play. Framerate is especialy low, when I zoom out, but before game switching to schematic view. Also I looked at GPU load using EVGA Precision - it says, that GPU fully loaded (100%).
