I'm also attaching the save game in question. I'm playing solo on a 6 player map, and the random generator made it 90% ocean! I'd imagine it's even less stuff to keep track of, and it's just as bad as I've been reading about.

Also, possibly unrelated, but the faction quest for the Forgotten has vanished from my quest bar. Not failed, not under any tab, just gone.

Same menu as above!

Hi, I'm also getting the same stuttering. Game runs fine, now I'm around turn 60 and stop, go, stop, go, it's maddening! I'm also on Win 10 and I tried both running as admin and win7 compatibility mode, and if anything it got a little worse! I just bought the DLC I was missing, this is a major downer. I'm pretty sure I'm above the game's requirements by a healthy amount, and I'm attaching my diag. Really like to hear something about this soon

Uh-Oh, I don't know what's going on. The performance has now worsened again, to the point that computer crashes are occurring occasionally with the micro stuttering. I have even lowered the resolution further (1680x1050? from memory) but to no avail. Please look into this problem, and fix it! thanks, J

EDIT: In your case Jorus I wonder if this isn't at least in part due to your GPU being rather on the low end of things.

Dear FS,

Thanks for your comment, but as I stated in my original post - the game has been working flawlessly for months on this computer. The only change is the addition of an SSD. So, I doubt that the GPU is the problem, and it shouldn't be - it is a decent middle of the road GPU. And I do not have the game on high settings. However, I do notice now that the problem basically disappears if I go to 1920x1080 instead of the native resolution of 1920x1200.

Jorus

PS

I would have responded earlier except that I am not getting email notifications that comments are being made on this subject, even though I activated notifications - what gives?

I just start the game right after I turn on my computer. The game is run in dx11 mode.

After opening the game I load the save file with shuttering. After that I start normal game.

It looks like the shuttering is only connected to one game file at the moment. When I start the

new game without loading the file with shuttering first, microfreezes will occur in newly started game.

This method works for me, no microfreezes, only normal fps drops depending on graphic setting, but thats totally normal

on 8 players map.

Oh, i wasn't aware that this thread describes the same issue i have since i upgraded my computer from a GTX670 to a GTX970. My old card did not make such stuttering, but the new one does, and in a very annoying way smiley: confused

I am also just using a 4 player map, it's my first game with EL, and i didn't want too make it to difficult for the beginning.

Man, i really like all Amplitude game, but this microshuttering is soooo annoying.

Only on 8 players maps, no problem with 6 players. I am reading about this problem

from multiple threads on this forum. Are devs going to do something with this?

My specs:

MSI radeon r9 270X

8Gb ram

intel i5 4460

1TB seagate 7200

This bug is really making game much worse;/

P.S Im not a native english speaker.I'm sorry for all pathetic mistakes.

My Endless Legend game refreshes itself often at random times - is this micro-stuttering? It has been working flawlessly for months until this week when I added an SSD to my system. I deleted the original program and then re-downloaded and installed on the SSD - all through Steam. I find it too annoying to play with as is. Starts in early turns

W10

Both screen modes at 1920x1200

Nvidia GTX745

i7 4790k

16 gb ram

3.5 TB

Here's how to:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/run-directx-diagnostic-tool

Save the information in a text file (button at the bottom right of the DXDiag screen next to "Quit"), then attach said file to your next post. Thanks!

I have the stuttering too. See attached file. The worst for me is scrolling side to side using the mouse. Interestingly enough, scrolling with the keyboard arrows is 10x better (but not perfect).

Also, I was using graphics card drivers that were about 5 months old. Updating them did not help the stuttering.

Edit: I have also turned off "Depth of Field" and modified various setting to lower, but no luck.

Hi, thanks for your response!

My ATI drivers and everything else is up to date.

Yes, image freezes for a fraction of a second, between this intervals the game works greatly.

It doesn't matter what I am doing. Dragging map, watching the landscape, managing cities.

But sometimes, after I end the turn, the game starts to work normally just for few turns.

I noticed something really weird. Even when I save and reload the game or restart computer the

game will still microshutter.

The most funny part: microshutter seems to persist only with one savegame file. I have few savefiles with this

problem and at the moment only the newest one is having this problem.

The problem starts mainly after turn 70-80, but in the newest savefile it stared about turn 20-30.

EDIT:

At the moment I am "teaching" game. I load the file with microshutter and after this I start

normal game with 8 players. Now after 90 turn with all map almost revealed, no microshutter...

Thats really clunky. Im going to report further my observations. I see lot of people with problem

on this forum.

Everything is in singleplayer mode with AI players. I havent played MP yet.

Do you mean micro-stuttering (image freezes for a fraction of a second) or some other graphical glitch?

Do you know if this affects other players or just you, and if the pattern is the time played (roughly the same amount of time elapsed every time) or actual ingame turns unrelated to time spent?

Are your drivers up to date?

Thanks!
