I just recently stopped having sound while playing EL, I checked all my drivers, played with the sound settings in game, and even did a clean wipe with no success.



Specs: Windows 7 x64, i5 2500k, 8gb ram, Asus GTX 970, Onboard Realtek HD Audio



Game Version: 1.4.0 S3 32 Bit, although I had the issue before I bought Shifters.

Does the audio system work OK for other applications ?

Are you sure that under the Volume Mixer / Applications, EL is not muted ?

Do you have more than one audio output device (again under the Volume Mixer) ? If yes, did EL get assigned to a different audio output device than the rest of the applications ?

Looks like it somehow got muted in the volume mixer, wonder how that happened. At least it was something stupid *sigh* Thanks for your help!
