It seems with the new expansion the A.I have lost some IQ points. For some reason the A.I. will now always attack you as soon as you besiege there cities, even if they have no chance of winning. This was not a problem pre shifters.



Also the A.I. does not make any effort to collect pearls even with an altar of auriga.



Lastly in diplomacy all rescources seem to be very overvalued by the A.I. e.g. they think about 4 pearls is as valuable as a research tech.

In my experience, the AI attacks as soon as the fortification drops to zero. Not one turn sooner or later (unless they managed to build some units with which they think they can win the battle).



About your second point : yes ! I cannot trade with the AI at all anymore. Even if I have 10 cities and they have two or three and my military power vastly outnunbers theirs, they propose a truce but won.t pay next to no reources for it. They.ll gladly pay technologies but resources seem vastly overvalued ...

In mine they attack whenever I have a unit sieging them, even if they have no units but 500 fortification.

Just here to say that diplomacy seems badly bugged since Shifters. Factions will be opposed to Truce even when I've taken almost all their cities and destroyed their armies completely. This seems faulty.



It wasn't this way pre-Shifters. Once a faction was on its knees, it would trade a lot of resources for a Truce. That seems logical and sensible.
