Since forges it seems like people are not seeing games from other regions or geographic areas outside their own.

I can't see any games from hosts outside the US it seems and they can not see me.

This is a big problem. It's already hard enough to get MP games going.

I hope this can be fixed quickly.

Yes, same issue here, and I´ve heard from lots of different people. Only way to get a game going now is through invitation.

Got hit with this last night too. Not sure of the cause, some players can see the lobby, some cannot. May be some sort of region lock introduced to the lobby browser.

In any case, this is a big issue as no one can see each other's Public multiplayer games.

We haven't made progress on this issue, neither have we seen any movement from Steam.

Is this still prevalent?

Issue is still around. It appears to be steam server filter related. We need to create a small shoutbox or IRC channel for MP matchmaking at least until it is resolved.
