Must click on the "Show Obsolete" button on the equipment panel to view and equip any of the dust jewelry items for the Increase Life. Army Health Boost, and Regeneration effects for Heroes. (Tier 1 and 2 confirmed, at least.)



The Regeneration items sometimes appears, but only for some Heroes (i.e. one Hero will see it and another will not at the same time in the same game.)



Further Testing:

A quick test shows that having the "Eye of the Hurnas" equipped on a Hero allows the regeneration ring to be visible. Equipping "Nwere" allows the Army Health Boost jewelry to be seen. Equipping "Ziiri's Band" makes the Increase Life ring visible. They don't become visible immediately; you must accept the changes then re-enter the equipment screen. This may also apply to other equipment combinations that I haven't tested.



I believe I have acquired all three quest items before Era IV in all 3 of my play throughs since Shifters was released, so it may be the case that acquiring them is what causes the dust items to become obsolete.

I've seen this too although it doesn't seem to be restricted to dust jewelry.



I've had it show tier 1 & tier 2 titanium jewelry as being obsolete when that is respectively the latest armor tech that I have.

I confirm that the quest items are putting "normal" items (from last tier available) obsolete.

It is due to our tier system.

Even if you don't see it quest items are like Tier4 items which will make all the other ones of the same category obsolete.

This is an issue we still need to fix but it is much more complicated than it looks...
