Lots of Crashes with New DLC

This game now crashes a lot in the late game timeframes. Sifting through the Diagnostic files yields litterally hundreds of errors, but the most common seems to be:



Exception while ticking the AI (SynchronousJobRepository) : System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at AILayer_ArmyManagement+c__AnonStorey687.<>m__BE (.UnitDesign design) [0x00000] in :0 at System.Linq.Enumerable.First[UnitDesign] (IEnumerable`1 source, System.Func`2 predicate, Fallback fallback) [0x00000] in :0 at System.Linq.Enumerable.FirstOrDefault[UnitDesign] (IEnumerable`1 source, System.Func`2 predicate) [0x00000] in :0 at AILayer_ArmyManagement.SynchronousJob_ExecuteNeeds () [0x00000] in :0 at SynchronousJobRepository.Tick () [0x00000] in :0 at TickableRepository.Tick (Boolean isInGameState) [0x00000] in :0

Hi,



Some warnings are harmless reports. Please could you provide us with a proper diagnostic*.html file, and your output_log.txt (or player.log for the Mac version) file?

Do you have any special characters in your Windows User Account name ? (http://forums.amplitude-studios.com/showthread.php?495-SOLVED-End-of-turn-error-ArgumentException-Illegal-characters-in-path)

Could you try re-installing the .NET Framework ? (4.5.1 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40779 , 4.5.2 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42642)

Could you try re-installing the VC++ packages ? (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555 and https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632)

Could you try reinstalling the game ?

There is a problem with the code and how it calls Mono in the game directory. Not sure where. I was actually able to finally resolve the issue by loading the autosave for that turn, and then saving it as a normal save file. Then, after quitting and reloading the save file, I was finally able to finish the turn and move on. If it had been a problem with my install, then I would not have been able to resolve the issue at all, most likely.
