Hi,

is there a way to mod the endless winter out? So that there is a seasonal change like before the endless winter appears?!

A lot of possible changes in: ./Season/Seasons.xml

./Registry.xml has this:

Summer

InfiniteWinter

3001

If nothing else changing that starting turn to a stupid high number should work.

You could also just go into ./Season/SeasonEffects[Winter].xml and remove all the bad effects. Not a perfect way but should help.

Okay thx for this...i edited the number to 6001...and started a new game on slow..lets see if it has any effects.

I would also like to know how this worked.

It's hard to test the changes yourself because it requires to play a game to close to it's end point to even see if it worked.

I tried this and it doesn't really seem to make a difference for me. I set the values to 6000 and 12000 and neither seemed to effect the weather.

I edited the last savefile to make the current summer last 50 turns, but this way would require to edit often (which i'm doing for other reasons anyway).
