If you use windows search file contents to find things inside the xml files for modding, it won't search between <> and [] along with others. There is a solution that worked for me, making it search XML files as plain text.



Use regedit and change the value under "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.xml\PersistentHandler\(Default)" to {5e941d80-bf96-11cd-b579-08002b30bfeb}. This makes the indexer use the plain text filter instead of the xml filter for the xml file type.

For me I actually had to make the PersistentHandler Folder and add the default. Make sure to include the {}s.

Huu... i use notepad++ and i dont have any problem.

When u ctrl+f u even have a tab "look in files in folder" to browse all the .xml files, that's very useful.
