I want to offer my skills as a rigger and animator to anybody working on some more extensive mods. I'm especially interested in anyone who's working on a new faction smiley: cool , giving the minor factions more units smiley: ohh , or the like.



For background, I use Maya for animation, only have experience coding in C, love this game, and I'm a game design grad. smiley: biggrin

I'm sure sooner or later some people would love to have your help creating mods. Right now, most of us are still uncertain how to add new models into the game, or if that is at all possible. I myself would be content just getting some additional animations on a few of the units and fixing the fact that giving a ranged hero a melee weapon has him holding it the wrong way around. (Seriously, why are the axis on melee and ranged weapons inverse to each other?)

I wrote a response, but apparently never hit submit. I am trying to make something pretty extreme. I want to double the eras, with techs/buildings to match, to extend the game pretty significantly. I want to raise the max city and district levels. Increase the number of units for both major and minor factions.



But as The-Cat-o-Nine-Tales said, there are also significant challenges. I would certainly like to make heroes and some units able to use more weapon types. Heck, giving militia ranged weapons seems like a no brainer and that has similar problems. These limitations make it hard to keep working on the mod honestly, but then again, it is just me right now.
