Modding converted villages to count as cities in war

Playing as Cultists, I've been annoyed that other players can destroy my converted villages while in cold war. Does anyone know how to add diplomatic abilities like "AttackCities" in DiplomaticAbilities.xml with new properties? I can't tell if it's moddable or not.

Hi karmos,

Unfortunately, you cannot create a new diplomatic ability with a mod. The attacks on villages follow the same rules as the attacks on armies. If you want to disable it during cold war, you must replace:







by:







Please note that empires will no longer be able to attack each other during cold war.

Bummer. Well, thank you for the workaround! It's not quite what I was hoping for, but I really appreciate your taking the time to answer my question. If y'all happen to be taking a look at the Cultists while rebalancing, maybe this is something you might take a look at.

Can this be made true during Peace / Alliance. Maybe it could be an optional trait you can choose for a custom faction.

I'm afraid it will require a brand new diplomatic ability which impossible to add through a mod...

However I will ask Manu more info about this.

I apologize for the late answer. Such optional trait is a good idea, even if it requires work on our side. We’ll keep it in mind but I cannot promise it will arrive soon smiley: frown
