Where should I create the /Community folder for mods on a Mac? I can't figure it out for the life of me. Thanks!

Hey karmos, its actually very simple comparative to other workarounds you need to mod other games for mac. For any future clarification I am running 10.10

1. Pull up a finder window and click on "go" at the top of the screen

2. While you have the drop down menu hit the "alt" or "option" key and this will bring up the "library" option. (This is kept hidden from the regular menu for reasons that are beyond me....)

3. In "library" open the folder "Application support"

4. A folder called "Endless legend" should be within, then simply open the "Endless legend" folder and make a new folder called "community".

Everything else is identical to the modding tutorial, but locating the Endless Legend folder is a bit of a pain.lol

My bad,

I did not think about giving info for Mac users...

I will add this new info in the modding tutorial for the next update.

Thanks!

Thanks so much, Ziltoid! I had been trying to create the Community folder in the EL Steam Apps folder.

Just as a side note, the Library is a folder just like any other on the disk (But it is hidden by default from browsing for safety and security), so you don't need to try and remember the whole hidden Option menu. You can just open the Go To Folder box and type in /Users//Library, or more succinctly ~/Library -- The ~ symbol means "My Home Folder".

You probably put it in the wrong place; it's easy to do that. If you look in "local files" in Steam, it will NOT direct you to the correct Endless Legend folder. As Agathorn said, go to your Spotlight search and enter ~/Library. From there, Application Support>Steam Apps>Endless Legend. Then create the Community folder and put your mods in. That's the correct Endless Legend folder. They should work after that.
