I'm trying to alter some of the world generation parameters located in WorldGeneratorSettings.xml, but I can't figure out how to call the modified file from my mod's main .xml (registry?) - there's no line for it in Pikou's modding reference XML, and I've had no luck guessing permutations for the DatabasePlugin DataType string.

In fact I'm pretty sure you cannot use the WorldGeneratorSettings.xml through a mod.

You can only alter the original file and people will have to replace it by themselves.

I will ask around about this but unfortunately no promise we can change that...

Thanks for responding! I wasn't eager to edit the original file, partially because of distribution issues and partially because it would be patched over each time the game gets an update. If that's the only way to get EL to recognize changes to generation parameters I can work with it, though.



I would be massively appreciative if you'd ask around and see if anyone else at Amplitude can figure out how to make it work!
