I always like playing around with maps to create highly specialized scenarios. And I think it would be interesting to see what people could create what with EL's region system and all.

Is there any chance we could be given tools to make custom maps in the future, near or otherwise?

Like, the sort where you could make an entire map be a big smiley face full of tiles you placed down yourself?

I think Amplitude made an attempt at a map maker with the "World Generator Presets", which unfortunately are not moddable at the moment.



Hopefully we'll see this in the future, I'd love to make/use custom maps.
