Hello there,

I'm making my first attempt at making a mod. I made my folder called ''Horizon" (name of my mod) with my Horizon.xml with the Public files I use. I first tried to put it into the community folder inside the Endless Legend directory. Since the new update, I think that this method don't work anymore because in-game, it only shows the mod I've installed from the workshop. Afterwards I tried to upload it into the Workshop...but couldn't find the button or any access to publish my work into it.

I would like to know how i can try my mod and eventually upload it to the workshop so everyone can try it.

Thanks smiley: smile

Hello,

It seems weird that you cannot see your mod through the community folder.

Anyway, in order to upload it on the workshop you need to follow those steps:

  • Right next to the "Community" folder you need to create a "User Generated Content" folder.
  • This folder is the new place from where you will be able to upload your mod on Steam. Community folder is the old one, for private tests and compatibility.
  • Before launching the game you need to go to the properties of your game and insert the launch options: --enablemoddingtools
  • A watermark is visible on the top right of screen to check this status.
  • When you go to the new mod screen you will see a "Share" button next to your mod in the list of available mods.

In case you still encounter some issues do not hesitate to forward your mod to us.

We will be able to help you more efficiently then.
