I've unzipped the mods and placed them in the community folder in the Endless Legend folder but no mods show up in game. I'm pretty sure I've done everything right so anybody have any ideas what I'm doing wrong with installing the mods?

Can you post the specific directory you've got your mods in? They should be in Documents/Endless Legend/Community/[MODNAME], where [MODNAME] is the mod main directory, and contains an .xml file with the same name as the mod's main folder.

The Season folder should have an XML name Season in its main directory, and a bunch of folders with names like "Simulation", "GUI", etc. Based on the name of the mod, it should also have a folder in its main directory named "season", with XML files like "Seasons" and "SeasonEffects[Winter]" in it.

You might have just copied the secondary "Season" folder over, and are lacking the XML manifest that allows Endless Legend to understand the mod (and recognize its existence).

So I have been having the same problem, but as far as I can tell everything is listed properly. There is an xml file within the mods properly, I even renamed the mod file to the xml file, but even that did not get it to work. Whenever I open endless legend and open the community directory from the main menu, not a one of the downloaded mods I have shows up. I have been looking everywhere, and a number of people are having the same problem I am and no one seems to have an answer.

Edit: so here is how the directory is so far. I will use the specific mod Auriga Expanded as an example

E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Endless Legend\Community\AurigaExpanded/AurigaExpanded(xml file)

In order to work, directory should be:

C:\Users\Me\Documents\Endless Legend\Community\TeleportAbility/TeleportAbility(xml file)

Tell me if it still does not work.

Might be due to an issue inside the reference file then...
