I am looking to mod the unit costs. Can anyone name the right files to look at? In detail, I would like to turn off the increasing maintenance cost for more experienced units. Thanks.
The base costs of unit bodies is defined under /simulation/simulationdescriptor[class].xml

However this isn't the full story. Each unit has a base cost based on this, then an additional cost based on the gear they've got, and then a formula that increases those costs by era (to make up for the levels gained on production).
I don't know about upkeep costs off the top of my head.
Thanks, but I am not looking for the production cost of a unit but rather the upkeep cost in respect to the unit level. So far I have noticed, the upkeep cost rise with the unit level, which I dont like very much. Any idea if this can be modded at all?
