Could anyone make a extension mod that would add researchable tier 3 strategic resource weapons and armor to the tech tree? Or if it's easy enough, point me in the right direction to do it myself?

It's not terribly difficult, but there might be a few problems with the AI and quest rewards if you just do the bare minimum.

If you just follow the 'new technology' tutorial, but instead of having your own effects you and icons you can just have to link it to the existing t3 technology.

I got around to updating some of my mods, here is a likely working copy. https://github.com/KIN0025/kin0025-Endless-Legend/releases/tag/2.0.0. Techs aren't laid out properly in higher tiers as I haven't updated it for guardians to fit properly, but you can click on all the techs. I'll try to make another release with fixed positioning if I have time.

Thanks, hopefully it'll work great.

On a similar note I was going through your mod and in your simulation folder there are faction affinity files that end in .xml.bak

Why is that? Just curious.
