How much work/effort is it to keep mods up to date? Do you have to copy your changes back into the updated files each time they are released? Does anyone have advice on how they do this with as little effort as possible?



I'm interested in creating some mods for fun, but I don't want to commit myself to an excessive amount of work. I also don't want to abandon projects.



Any feedback or thoughts?

It depends on what you change, how well you code, and how sweeping amplitude's changes will be in the future.



In general, it usually works fine, unless you're changing something huge like the ClassEmpire
