Can anyone point me in the right direction. I've looked everywhere I can imagine, and it doesn't seem like there is any way to get at that property. Is it something that is hard-coded and outside of xml?



I've spent the past 6-7 hours on this and wouldn't ask if I didn't desperately need the help/guidance.

I have spent days looking for it, and couldn't find it, either. I'm afraid it may be hardcoded.

I'm really, really close to having an outpost system working. The only thing I'd like to do is have outposts create roads so that you can trade through regions with outposts. Coding this has been going so well!

I never found this. If a Dev manages to ask about this and get us some info, I'd be super grateful.



I did develop a workaround (by making Right of Way unlockable at the start of the game), but this was a really limiting. It's very difficult to change names, descriptions or do anything else when it comes to roads.

Is it possible to find a trick like making road cost zero industry cost ?



Would be great for the roving clans (who really need a bonus like this).

@Jojo_Fr In the latest version of my mod, roads are available from the start of the game and they cost 1 Industry and 500 Dust to establish. You could find the code in the mod (or have someone grab it for you) and adjust the cost to whatever you think is fair. You could even have roads auto-build with each new city.



The main thing I wanted to do, however, was to create a new building that also made roads and I wasn't able to figure that out. I like the way this plays out (500 Dust and almost 0 production per Right of Way improvement) just fine, though, because it feels just right to me.
