Increasing the vision range on converted villages

I would like to try to increase the vision range on converted villages (for Cultists) with each watchtower tech.



This is what I have so far, but it's not working.

I'll keep trying to figure this out on my own, but if anyone knows how to fix this offhand, I would be grateful to know! Thanks. <3

I haven't tested this yet, but I think the easiest solution is to make a tech specifically for the Cultist affinity that gives +vision on all villages; that should be really easy and straightforward to do.

And a few other ways of trying to get at the property, but it's not having any effect at all. Is anyone able to help with this?

That shows up in the tech tooltip, but it does not work....

I stuck this line in some era 1 tech and it works, even for villages outside colonised regions:







I'm not sure why a ClassCity path wouldn't work in this case.
