I recently tried to take a look at the map editor and see what I could make, but it looks like it isnt working properly.... or at least it isnt for me.

Specifically, the tilesets don't seem to correlate to the layers. I go to make everything but elevations invisible so I can focus on that, suddenly I cant place any tiles at all, not even elevation tiles.

There are other issues like this, if you want to see rivers, you need to make points of interest invisible... just stuff like that that seems wonky. Is everything working as intended?

Also, how would I go about adding world wrap to a map?

Hello. I'm working with Tiled and i have no such problems. Maybe you're yet not used to work with layers ? Well, Tiled works like Photoshop, Gimp, or some video editors. The upper layer will mask everything that is underlying. So you have to untick layers that are above the one you are working on, or set the opacity of them with the cursor just above their name. Don't forget to check if you are working on the right layer, it will spare you lot of time in case of errors smiley: smile

Thank you so much Nob.

I didn't realize I had to select a layer before I started laying down tiles, I just assumed layers were automatically linked with the appropriate tiles. lol

That all cleared up, is there any way to add in worldwrap? I cant seem to figure out how to do that and I'm really only interested in making wrapping maps. Nobody seems to know how to do it when I look around online, but there's gotta be a way, right?

There are two small things to do :

- your map should have a even number of columns

- insert those lines in your yourfolder/Public/Scenarios/scenario[yourmap].xml
Advanced

true
(and be careful with ocean and earth tiles at the borders smiley: wink )
