Hi there ,

I am actually playing a little paper role playing game with some friends.

About a few months ago i discovered the endless universe.

And i decided to create a role playing game with REALLY easy rules around the endless world (especially endless legend).

I named it simply : Auriga.

It is of course for personal uses only but mannnnnn your world is so damn good i needed to do something in it !

by the way i am doing it in french because this is the language that my players will speak.

What i lack is a good source for the lore besides the games.

What do you think?

I have discussed the subject a bit with Slowhands, our writer.

Basically, we have a LOT of material written and drawn on the Endless universe at large, and the Endless Legend universe in particular, but we end up publishing only what we feel is necessary. This is done in order to leave us a way of changing our minds if we think of a better thing after without disturbing our own canon (looking at you, Star Wars

).

However, during the free week-end, the community collectively unlocked the Endless Legend art book, which is still in the works. We have no ETA on it, but it's still a thing.

In the meantime, the best resource for material and inspirations behind Endless Legend's multiple societies is browsing the Game Dev Documents published on our blog, along with the game's page on our website:

Another question, since i couldn't participate in your event when the artbook (digital) of endless legend was given, is there anyway to get it? Are you thinking of giving it again in the future? I own all the games in the fullest version but couldn't find it so i taught it must have been a one time event.

I am still working on my papers but it would help me to have better pictures of the artwork. Like for exemple : the ressources.

Still thank you for your work it is an amazing universe and lore i am having a blast reading and writing my kinda "encyclopedia" about it

Allow me to explain:

A while ago, Amplitude ran a "free weekend event" for Endless Legend and Dungeon of the Endless. During this event, they tracked the number of unique players. The more people played EL and DotE on that weekend, the more rewards would be unlocked for the community. These rewards included the four TF2 heroes for DotE (already out), a Guardian Slayer unit for Endless Legend (to be released in the coming update), and the digital Artbook for Endless Legend, which has not been released yet.

Given that it was referred to as a Community Reward, it is quite likely that all owners of Endless Legend will receive the artbook through Steam as soon as it is finished.

P.S. I really should get back to my own ideas and maybe exchange some thoughts with you.

The artbook is still being worked on, it's a bit time-consuming to put together in a consistent and way. It will indeed be released for all owners of Endless Legend when complete.

Hello, I had the same idea quite a long time ago to make an RPG out of auriga. I own the 3 games about it and I realy feel at home in that universe. Recently I started to have a concept of game and I became curious if there were material about the lore I could use.

It is a somehow big project for me and to avoid any trouble I wanted to see the policy about creation around that. I am french (maybe that game speaks more to french people) but I will be playing in english.

All the artworks are immersive and I love to browser the fan arts aswell.

To be the more acurate to that univers I love, is there an "official" map to auriga ?

And if my players like the game I could share it here for all to enjoy the base of new world. (It is going to be an adaptation of the World of Darkness rules to go the extra mile)

Hi.

You know, I had same idea years ago. I even started to do some stuff, but, eventually, it got really hard to tend all the time alone to work, when life needs arise.

For you all, I present what was made.

I'm not ready to move further with the typing, as I'm not a good writer. But I'm a designer and can help with forming art and prepare PDF document. If you, guys, want to use this system, I'll gladly present it to you in all its glory. As well, my ideas.

Basic rulebook I was using to imitate, was D&D 5ED Player Handbook. I'm mastering it for quite a time, and just as many fans, think that's most balanced system of all editions. It's not a bad thing to utilize what is good.
