So about 2 days ago my friend and I bought Endless Legend with all its expansions and add-ons mainly to play it together. We completed the tutorial and proceeded to start a multiplayer game.
Everything was simple and easy at the start but then after like 10 mins I was in game but my friend was still getting the "waiting for game data" at the loading screen.
so we decided that he should host the game. Then after a while he is game and I get stuck in the loading screen with the same message.
We decided that the host should start the game and the other player joins the game after it has started. Then the player joining the game gets the message "waiting for other players to end turn" at the loading screen while the host is getting "a player is joining" in game after he has ended his turn.

Other things tried:
- We both set the game to 32-bit from 64-bit. It patched a little. But didnt solve the problem.
- Tried Hamachi on and off. With Hamachi on we both got stuck in loading screen if we started together from the lobby.
- Tried smallest map and player setting (just 2 players) to largest (8 players). Didnt work.
- Disabled all the expansions and add-ons. Still no luck.
- Waited. It never loaded.

So we are at a loss of what more we can do. Kindly solve this problem as we bought this game exclusively to be played in multiplayer.

a) update graphic drivers

b) start game in compatibility mode for windows 7 and with admin rights (find endless legend.exe and look for in properties)

c) verify game cache (right click on game in steam and look for in properties)

d) reinstall the library .Net Framework 4.5.1 (or newer version ?)

I would normally recommend playing the 64-bit version of the game, unless there is some major issue (like the game not starting at all) which would require switching to 32-bit.

Here are two startup parameters which you can use in the Steam properties for Endless Legend:

- Add the command line option “-useembedded” (Properties on “Endless Legend” in Steam client library, and “Launch Options”) and launch a new game (don’t load Tutorial). 
- Add the command line option “-useshellexecute” (Properties on “Endless Legend” in Steam client library, and “Launch Options”) and launch a new game (don’t load Tutorial). 
Please note that you cannot use both commands at once. You can test both but not at the same time.

I have this issue. None of these fixes help.
