So, huge problem. Just got back into the game, got the expansions, having a blast, wanted to play multiplayer. Me and my friend play for a bit then stop to finish the game later. But we can't.

Issue: Cannot join multiplayer saves. The non-host player is stopped at the message: "Waiting for game data."

Multiplayer Dump Files: I don't seem to have any.

Important notes: We CAN load small saves. Before like turn 60 we can still get back into the games. We believe it's when the file gets too big that causes an issue? 

We've swapped hosts, that doesn't work. 

We have no desync issues.

The save files are not corrupt. We can both enter them in single player.

We've tried waiting at this screen for almost 30minutes. Still nothing.
