If you "Salt the Earth" on your own Capitol, and re-settle that town will no longer be a Capitol City.

This should either create a new Capitol City or issue a warning to the player that it will destroy the Capitol City forever and the benefits it provides, in my opinion anyway.

Hello there,

You are right indeed. We need to display a message to the player when he is going to destroy it.

For the Roving Clans it is also true after he does it, so player knows he still have until the end of turn to settle/resettle.

It is not still at the top of our implementation list but we think about it.

Thanks for pointing that out!

Was this ever fixed? as I started a Mowgar game and did the scotched earth trick with my 1st city while finding a place to settle. I then built it and built the founders memorial but I can't seem to see a crown on that city.

I thought it was the founders memorial that made the capital city and since I hadn't built it at this point I am a bit confused as to why I have no capital city.
