[BUG] Terrain redraws every turn [1.0.12 S3]

Issue: Already using the 32-bit game on a 64-bit system to fix the crashes. Starting around turn 200, after I end my turn, the game chugs along like normal while the AI takes their turns. Right when my next turn begins - the part when you get all your construction reports - the window for buildings completed will open partially, and then I'll get a Windows hourglass for roughly five seconds. When the game resumes, all of the terrain features go black, and then fade in again like they do on turn one. The game does this every turn from then on, even if no reports pop up. Pause for roughly five seconds, followed by terrain redraw. Other than that, the game is working normally.



Specs: Windows 7 pro 64-bit, 4GB RAM, Intel Core 2 Quad 2.67gHz, AMD Radeon HD 5770 1GB @1680x1050

I'm not familiar with that issue but the game does tend to chug quite a bit after a while for me too. It might help to restart the game every now and again.

Restarting both game and computer did not impact that save file. A new game does not show this problem, and other games that reached turn 200 did not have this problem either. It is unique to this save file.
