Saw a few other people report this bug on older versions, with some of them able to fix their own games by loading older saves

CORRECTING THE COURSE

6.1. Capture the City [Cityname] and assign a Drakken Hero to it (Level 6 minimum) for a period of 10 turns. -- Random



have the hero, have the city, shortly after the 6 turns till empire plan warning (having the city for 4-5 turns depending on which save i load) the quest fails, and doesn't tally closer to 10 turns any turn he's being a governor there

iv loaded up a save before going to take the city as well, and the same thing happens, it just takes longer to fail, but never gets closer along the way



attached is the original save where the bug happened before i tried to roll back, i can give earlier ones if needed, but this one is pretty much right at the failure

Indeed it reminds me of some old bug reports.

Strange that it still occurs. I was pretty sure we got rid of this one.
