I've been enjoying myself after getting Endless Legend a couple days ago. Ran into a little bug thats a bit frustrating though. I had the Transcendent Rod of Verda inventory after the second or so quest-line for the Ardent Mages, no problems. After getting to the 6th mission in the questline that requires a ardent mage hero possess that weapon, after 130 or turns into the game, I go to inventory to equip the weapon and its not there. I only have one Ardent Mage Hero, and the others I checked and it wasn't in their inventories either.



I know this isn't something that can be currently fixed in the current play-through, but is there way to ensure this doesn't happen in the future? I would really like to finish them off in the future and not be stopped a disappearing quest item. Really enjoying myself and will continue to enjoy myself, just a little disappointed.

Really sorry for the inconvenience. Never heard about this kind of bug so far.

By any chance, do you still have a save you could upload for us with the 6th chapter and no scepter? It might help us understand the reason behind this issue.

Otherwise I will try to complete the quest and see if I can reproduce the problem.

Is there any chance it is just been obsoleted? When editing your unit, uncheck the hide "missing resource" and uncheck "obsolete"

This just happened to me, as well. I just completed the quest at turn 170. The quest reward says I received the Transcendent Rod of Verda. However, when I go into inventory to equip it, it is not there.
