I've posted about this issue elsewhere (here, and later here) but to recap:



The Forgotten-specific tech "Learn From Others" does not apply the bonus XP per spy.



LEARN FROM OTHERS

+3 XP per turn on hero

+5 XP per turn per infiltrated hero on hero




From the first thread I posted, I was informed that the application of the XP bonus is not being applied correctly.

From what I understand, "./EmpireTypeMajor/UnitHero" applies to hero units that are in the Academy. However, heroes that are in the Academy do not gain experience.



I tried to write a mod to fix this. As I mentioned in my second post, I changed the problem line in the technology definition from this:

to this:



[CODE]

[/CODE]



That applies the bonus to the hero units. Unfortunately, accessing SpyCount (or any other EmpireType variable, such as net Influence per turn) is read as 0, even though that is not what the game actually says it is. (See below screenshots.)

So this bug is twofold:

  • The XP bonus is not being applied to hero units that are on assignment.
  • Even when the bonus is applied to ExperienceGainPerTurn properly, it is always 0.

    As an update, this bug is still present after the 1.3.0 patch. Please look into this; the loss of potential hero XP for the Forgotten is greatly debilitating.

    Hi DirtyBeach, to keep you up to date, this issue has now been addressed on our side and should become public as soon as we release a patch for the game (hopefully before christmas)
