BUG or Feature? - cannot complete cultist Tech quest

Hi everyone,



I really enjoy your game so I wanted to give some quick feedback so things can be improved and make everything more polished quickly:



Cultist Quest Chapter 5 - The riches of Auriga



It says to research 10 techs in the Era III of Technology - I thought it meant to research 10 ERA III Techs... so I ended up advancing to the next era and seem hence to be unable to complete the quest, as I did not research the 10 techs before advancing to the next Era - since you only need 9 techs to advance this seems a bit tricky...

If this works as intended, well, that's a shame, fair game - but I feel there should have been some kind of warning maybe - it seems now I can never finish this quest in this game...





Oh and also I noticed (difficulty serious), that AI only ever builds 1 type of unit.

I have had this in all my games so far, every faction only ever builds one unit-type, with the exception of the occasional mercenary or minor faction unit. I.e. Roving Clans = Dervish, Wild Walkers = Ranger, Drakken = Drakkenling etc etc

I have seen someone posted this somewhere else already, but just really wanted to bring this up here again as its quiet annoying that AI attacks you with units that are by no means efficient against your unit-composition and obviously not the best use of their army slots.





Another minor gameplay one I found annoying was the use of stockpiles:

I found it really annoying, especially as the cultists, that I could only ever activate 1 production stockpile at a time for my city, which results in a lot of time-consuming back and forth clicking... - you should be able to allocate a certain amount to the city of your choice

Hello,



First, for the cultists main quest, even if you pass to the next era you can still unlock technologies from the era 3 and complete the chapter. Otherwise this is a bug.



Second, about the army building of the AI, it has already been reported and it should be better managed by the AI in the next patch.



Third, about the stockpiles, we have taken notice of the issue but we still need to think about a proper solution before even implementing something.

No promises though, we have a lot of other priorities too.

I know its a bit of necromancy, but I've run into the 10 techs issue as well. Was this ever explained else where?

It was explained here, look at Pikou's post immediately above yours. You can still research techs in eras previous to the one you've reached.
