Stuck in battle deployment screen with no 'Ready' button to continue

Issue



[LIST=1]
  • I've loaded the save file (linked below).
  • There's a battle initiated by the AI (Cultists) so I start the battle, choose manual and 'ready to fight'
  • The screen starts deployment phase and switches to battle mode
  • But the 'Ready' button is missing at the bottom so I can't actually start the battle! (see screenshot linked)

    I have paid for a copy on Steam, but no idea if i have correctly activated it, it just seemed to load without asking for a code???

    Yes, same here - save game attached - say's "waiting for opponent deployment." Started happening with latest patch.





    Fix:

    Quit the game and loaded back up from this save - seemed to "Reset" the deployment.



    Will post again if I can repeat.

    I also have this problem. This bug makes the game unplayable....every time when an army sieges your city the ready button disappears and your stuck...nothing will fix this you have to quit the game and start a new one...THIS BLOWS BIG TIME! Please patch and fix ASAP!

    I have been able to reproduce and fix this yesterday. The fix is now on our QA version for further validation and bug fix confirmation.

    It should make it for the next patch.

    The patch has been released the 18th.

    Just verify the integrity of your game cache in steam options to check if everything is okay.

    I had this problem twice now during my current match. I think it's related to the "arcade" phase at the beginning of the turn when armies move simultaneously. Both times I had two battles at the same time. At the first incident I disabled all notifications, so that I could react sooner during the arcade phase, then I moved one army out of the way. The second time I saved after the first battle. Reloaded and could then fight the second battle.

    I had same experience this night. After setting options (offensive, defensive, hold Position - manual or Auto combat) and ready up, it's waiting to start battle and nothing happens no more. It's not reproducable, you save and reload game, then it works and battle starts. Didn't find other solution atm.
