[Quest][Wild Walkers] Cannot give Wolfsbane of the Shepherd to Ahoe Zaltana

In my first game's questline, i received a mission of giving the questline's hero Ahoe Zaltana the quest item 'Wolfsbane of the Shepherd', and placing him on a city. The thing is, the weapon is not the right type for him, given that he is a ranged hero, and the weapon is a staff. I've tried hiring another support hero, giving him the staff and placing him as a governor, to no avail. How can I proceed?

The item you need to equip Ahote Zaltana with is a bow called Arc of the Builders.

Yes that's the correct weapon "Arc of the Builders bow" the game SHOULD give you in the quest line, BUT it sounds like the game is bugged and gave him the wrong weapon in the quest, and the quest is still bugged in that the following quest wants him to give that wrong weapon to the hero who cant use it.

If you cant roll back to a save before you got the quest to discover the weapon, and try again to get the right weapon in the quest, then your just going to have to give up going for the Wonder Victory. Or start a new game.

I hate that quest that rewards you with the wolfbane's shepard, you have to have a support hero to equip it and sometimes thats not feasible

Hello,

If the main quest of the WildWalkers does not rewards you with the Arc of the Builders at the end of chapter 6 this is clearly a bug.

If you could provide us with a save we will have a look at it.
