One of the AI has this tooltip indication regarding its behavior toward me, but I pillaged once, some 30 turns ago one of its structure, so it is definitively not ongoing. Played several sessions since that but it remains and don't deprecate.

Just adding that I encountered this same issue; I'm playign as Forgotten, and all of the other factions which I have pillaged in the past, continue to list "PILLAGE PERFORMED ; ONGOING PILLAGE" if I hover over their "LEERY" Status in the Diplomacy screen.

Has there been any word on this?

I think they remember for a while. So like, for a hundred turns or so they'll hold pillaging against you.

Funny enough, I've been blamed for pillaging when I wasn't pillaging. Just being in the area and being seen when a minor faction unit pillaged triggered the warning. I was all like, "But it wasn't even me!" *pout pout pout sends an army to pillage because if I'm going to get blamed for it anyway...*

I suppose so, but that would only explain the "PILLAGE PERFORMED" staying in the list for so long; it still doesn't make sense to additionally say "ONGOING PILLAGE" when the pillaging already happened, and they already have a note about it with "PILLAGE PERFORMED".

Hi there!

This is more of a localisation issue I think: the "pillaging" attitude modifier (called "ongoing pillage" in the localisation) is actually triggered by an attempted pillage as opposed to a successful pillage. When a pillage is completed the second attitude modifier, "pillage succeeded" (called "pillage performed" in the localisation), is triggered. AIs are a lot more annoyed by successful pillages than attempted pillages, but are still annoyed by attempted pillages long after they are abandoned. This means that even many turns after the attempted has pillage occurred the attitude modifier is still active (though its impact is substantially less than before).

We'll look into this.
