Wonder Completion Prioritises Content Owners

While the title is a bit of a mouthful, there seems to be an issue where wonder construction.



In a multiplayer game, if a player who owns the Guardians (maybe other expansions also) is constructing a wonder (Museum of Auriga), they will finish construction before they are supposed to and prevent other players from completing the wonder.



Scenario



Two Players

Player A (Host, Guardians Content Active)

Player B (Client, Content Inactive)



If player A has two turns until wonder completion

Player B completes wonder next turn.



On end of turn, player A will have completed the legendary deed, player B will be refunded their Dust and Strategic resources.

Player A has not yet finished wonder construction (1 turn remaining).

Player A can cancel construction and still be able to begin construction of the wonder. Player B will not have this option.



This issue does not occur if both players have activated (read, owned/downloaded) the relevant content/expansions.



This has not been tested for two non-host players, one content one non-content

Interesting bug.

I always thought that the clients "get" the same add.ons as the host for the purpose of the MP match, meaning that everybody enjoys the same chances to win ...

Yeah, players without the content can still play in games and use the content. But there is just this little issue in terms of priority and premature completion. I have no idea how this could occur.
