regular CRASHING out single player

Hi,
Engless Legend regularly crashes out of single player games (every hour or so - no specific time)
it's a good game, but this problem is getting really tedious (also happens with multiplayer, but i have not kept details on that problem)
here is the information for the single player problem
I have seen other references to fixes by playing in WINDOW mode, which I have tried, but it didn't work

Can you check whether your laptop is using its integrated Intel chipset or the Nvidia GPU to play the game?

I'm not sure how to force it to use the Nvidia card to run the game (not a Mac user myself), but ensuring it does would be a start.

I bought "endless legend" a few days before through Steam and i like it a lot, but it has frozen since i played 5 times, 3 times, it crashed my computer as well and needed to be restarted. Here is the info from my imac27": 

Prozessor  3,4 GHz Intel Core i5

Speicher  8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Grafikkarte  NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M 2048 MB

Software  OS X 10.9.5 (13F1911)

How can i solve this problem, which starting nerving me.
