How does a Mac get beyond the menus?

Hello,

Steam claims that I have been playing for 24 minutes. The fact is that I got as far as the Advanced Options in the menu system and couldn't figure out what I need to click on a Mac Keyboard to get my choices accepted. I do not have a numeric keyboard and I don't have a Windows keyboard. The way that I got out of the menu was the ESC key which apparently wiped out my choices, but once I was back to the main menu, I could not figure out how to tell the game to begin.

I don't want to have to ask for a refund, but Steam says I have already used up 24 minutes and I don't like the idea of paying for a game that I cannot even play.

I'm not sure what issue you're having exactly: is it to validate the changes you made in the options? If that is the case, clicking the Validate or Apply button at the bottom right of the window does the trick.

If it's to start a game, you just need to press "Start", also at the bottom right.

I resolved this problem by myself over two weeks ago. Good thing I did because it took you 2 weeks to respond.

Now I have a problem with the game crashing repeatedly. I would like to send a crash report. Is there a page on this website for sending information privately?

Guess you know about, but in case you have a second monitor active, game starts to trouble.

It would be helpful for others to post the solution which fixed your problem...

icarus86,

My computer opened EL in a window instead of fullscreen. The "buttons" for continuing were below the bottom edge of my screen. There are 2 solutions, either one works. 1. Reduce the pixel resolution of EL. 2. Use the Menu bar to switch to full screen.

This is a bit late, but you can also use command+F to swap between window and fullscreen.

It has also been my experience that the game will always pop back into windowed mode on startup; until you get to the main menu, trying to put it back into fullscreen will usually go right back to windowed.  At the main menu and within the game proper, it's stable with regard to window settings.
