I like many others seem to be caught by a particularly nasty bug. We buy the game for Mac and it won't even start.



On a new Mac mini (10.10.1) the issue seems to be the MonoFramework-MRE that is included in the game files is simply not installing. it looks like 3.4.0 is bundled with the game but I tried installed 3.10 and it is the same issue on installation. Anyone have an suggestions on getting this seemingly simple thing working?

so...an oddity that might help others



pkg files were simply not installing, any of them. a restart seemed to have cleared up the issue so if you are having issues starting because it is tossing errors trying to run the mono framework installation try giving your mac a fresh start! how disturbing is that :/
