When the game is in full screen, switching app is not working (cmd+tab) which is similar to alt+tab.

Also on Macbook Pro you should be able to switch to other apps when swiping four finger up or down (to show all open apps) or three finger swipe to switch to another desktop. None of these are working.



To me this is a big issue because it makes my laptop unusable while playing the game. I have to quite the game if I want to do a simple task.

Yeah it would be nice if they would allow/implement tabbing out of the game in fullscreen mode.



As a workaround you can set the game to windowed mode.

Haven't tried it on a Mac, but I wonder if fullscreen + "-popupwindow" (Right click on the game > Properties > Set launch options) works. It does on Windows and is basically a borderless windowed mode.

if this game uses unity, like ES did, it should be simple enough. (i think) adding this would be appreciated, to say the least.

More generally speaking, it's super-annoying that Endless Legend isn't a ‘fully native’-feeling OS X app like Endless Space is.



The first thing one of my friends said when I showed him Endless Space, upon watching me launch it, is “holy shit, it's a real app.” Because when you launch Endless Space, your desktop zooms out and swoops, as Endless Space establishes its' own full-screen Space (OS X term, not Amplitude term). This means that multi-finger swiping or OS X's built-in hotkeys work for users as they are expected to, to let us, say, Google the production of various planet types. It's a big freakin' deal, to us.



Coming back to Endless Legend after an Endless Space kick, it's really disappointing to be reminded how terrible the full-screen support is on this side of Amplitude's yard. /=

Regarding windowed mode, cmd-f will switch between windowed and fullscreen. It would be quite nice however to see more standard OSX behavior in both Legend and Dungeon.
