I have just purchased the game on Steam.



The install runs without any problem but when I try to start the game I get the following error:



NotImplementedException: The game creation process has failed.

I'm no professional, and I'm just trying to help, but have you ran the game as administrator? I'm just trying to give some faster help than the support because they can be slow at times, but they'll fix everything. :P

@OP, try the following workarounds, another user reported success with it:



Add the command line option “-useembedded” (Properties on “Endless Legend” in Steam client library, and “Launch Options”) and launch a new game (don’t load Tutorial).

Add the command line option “-useshellexecute” (Properties on “Endless Legend” in Steam client library, and “Launch Options”) and launch a new game (don’t load Tutorial).

Note that you cannot use both commands at once. You need to test both but not at the same time.

@frog - this worked for me, although very laggy and almost unplayable... any news on a hotfix for this issue?

Nothing yet. I suggest lowering the graphics quality to minimize the drop in performance when using the workaround.

OK so i have just replied to another similar post .... I too am having the same problems I cannot get the game to start, seems to be since EL last update.... please we need a resolution to this, my game addiction needs feeding ! :P
