When I try to parley with a minor faction, the message "The tribe in this region doesn't want to negotiate for now" appeared on the screen. I have tried other tribe in that region and the same message appeared.



This issue still happens when I also try other region on the same continent; but when I visit another continent, I can finally obtain a minor faction quest...



I wonder if other players encounter this issue at all. Does anyone know what trigger this?

It's not an issue. It's happened to me before too. I tried twice more, and they were not interested in my diplomacy overture. After I sent in the troops, negotiations proceeded between our swords and their carcasses. The survivors were glad to join my city....

I think it's because another faction has already parleyed with the tribe and has a quest open with it, or has a quest that involves the tribe. It's frustrating, but not as frustrating as having your quests cancelled because another faction parleys with someone, completes their quest first and cancels your quest imo.

It seems that not many people have the answer for it yet...



Hopit, thanks for your answer but that region still has 3 minor faction villages intact. Therefore, a destroyed village should have no impact to it.



Seek, thanks for reply but if another faction has already parleyed with the tribe, the village should have a white flag on top of it and the parley option cannot even be selected.

It seems to happen when I have already done or still on a lot of quests, but I've returned some time later and the parlay option will sometimes then work. I can only guess that once some internal conditions are met then a quest(s) is then made available to the parlay option so it will once again work... So try completing the quests you already have, and/or advancing to a new era (which seems to open more or variations of quests you've already done).
