The trick is to stack all bonuses that reduce building cost.

1) Finish faction quest, since it is prerequisite to the Temple of Earth Core
2) As faction quest reward you get +25% building cost reduction from Growing Buildings tech
3) Have Wind Walker hero with 2 levels of Benemoth Tamer for additional +24% building cost reduction
4) Have at least 2 levels of Science and Production plan for another +33% building cost reduction

This all gives total of 82% building cost reduction, or total cost that is 18% of base industry price. So Temple of Earth Core would cost 6480 industry, instead of base price of 36000.

Also, if you have Urces as minor faction, reduction is even higher. In my current game I had 2 assimilated Urces villages, reducing base cost of buildings by additional 10%, to total of just 8%. So Temple of Earth Core had costed me only 2880 industry, which was enough to finish it in 2 turns.

Personally I'm not sure what would happen if I had 4 or more Urces villages. Industry cost of 0 for buildings?!?

In many cases, bonus stacking is the name of the game. We're leery of this kind of thing happening in Endless Space 2, so we're a bit more careful with % bonuses.

But yeah, Wild Walkers are great builders, what can I say... :)

Personally, I would not mind if this kind of bonus is capped to like 65% cost reduction, for balance sake.

Either that or changing it to multiplicative bonus.

And if you have a couple Stockpiles hanging around, you can build it in one....

for the devs:

In civ they stop this from happening by letting each reduction affect the already reduced result.

for example first the wild walker faction triggers reducing the wonder from 36000 to 27000 and then the urces trigger on the 27000.

first the largest stuff should trigger and then the second highest and so on.

but I don't know if that works exactly that way in civ since its been a long time that I saw the charts

In EL, it is simple additive reduction, at least according to testing.

Still not sure what would happen if reductions goes over 100%, which is possible in theory for Wild Walkers.
