Hmm.The A.I ships going straight over the lightning has me worried.The A.I not understanding how to play expansions is not good.

I've been enjoying your series so far, but wanted to make a few comments.


First, those ruins you're looking for? I get the feeling they are somewhere in the uppermost corners of your ocean region, where there are a few tiles you haven't discovered.


Then there are some more general comments. Rather than expanding too quickly I think you haven't expanded quickly enough. I have a system of sorts that has worked pretty well both in single player and the few multiplayer matches I've been involved in. In every game, I try to have a city founded every twenty turns (on normal speed, that is). That means that by turn 20 I tend to have two cities, by turn 40 I have three, by turn 60 I have four... You get the drill.


I also think you should have way more heroes than you do now. It's not always viable, but it's good to have a governor per city plus a couple generals, maybe even throw in a spy or two.


I'm pretty sure it's the Cultists who defeated the Roving Clans. Since your land capabilities aren't great, maybe ally with them and see what comes of it? Those Necrophages aren't going to defeat themselves. Also, now that the Broken Lords are gone, maybe you should consider grabbing their ocean region, since you should have the superiority there.
