Death or Glory - Broken lords quest - bugged?

Hello,

I'm having a problem with the Broken lords faction quest phase "Death or glory". You're supposed to search a ruin with a 8-unit army, where all the units must be level 5 and equipped with the quest item Sighing sceptre of Auir. As far as I can see, I have fulfilled the requirements (the hero also has the quest item), yet when I try to search the ruin pointed out by the quest dialogue I get the message that I have to try again when I fulfill the requirements.

I'm attaching a save file for the game, it's the army 1st Hearth vanguard, and it's standing next to the ruin in question. If anyone can point out what I'm missing or possibly confirm whether it's a bug, I'll be grateful.

I'm having the same problem. I have retrofitted all my units with the proper item. I even went as far as equipping the hero with all the quest items. I tried having all level 6+ units too since the other quest required a level 6 dust bishop, I included him also. Not sure what else to even try. It's definitely bugged imo.

Hey rustic and Ribkage, I ran into this too, so I also came to look on the forums for others that had the same problem. It seems this is indeed a reported and confirmed bug, hopefully soon to be fixed! I found people talking about it on steam forums lastnight and saying it was a known bug, back in May... Nearly 8 months ago. I'm not overly familiar with this company but outstanding bugs like that as a new customer of theirs doesn't look good imo. Also there seems to be a bug where dustwater doesn't spawn anywhere on the map that seems to have been known for a while. Can be pretty gamebreaking as broken lords since it's one of the best resources by far for them. Seems they hate broken lords =)

Hello,

Thanks a lot for the save it will help us a lot to see what causes the issue.

Last month we have fixed some problems of this kind that might be due to the reload of a save at a specific moment. Thus it is very difficult to detect.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

But be sure we continue to have a look at all the saves you will upload for us on those topics.

This is still very much broken! Broken Lord hero level 13 . Units are level 6-8, and there are 8 of them. Each has the Sighing Scepter of Auir. tried swapping out heroes ... annoying, especially since it took travel through a very long winter in the middle of someone else's region to get there.

Even if it is not fixed for current saves, this bug should not happen again following next version of the game.

Unfortunately there was a missing line in the quest xml file that did not check that the right item was obtained before the chapter begins.

Got the same bug, in a game I started yesterday. Built 8 level 6 units all with green relic, included high level hero also with green relic. Gave hero the other 2 quest items as well, in case they were needed, with how the story was talking about them working together. But still not working.

The quest seems to be still broken, in my game the requirement is to search a specific temple ruin with an army composed of 8 units of lvl 5 minimum all of which are equipped with "The Sighing Scepter of Auir".

The problem is that I don't have the scepter.

My game version is 1.1.1 S3, the save is attached.

Hello,

After launching the save I can see the Scepter in your armory.

I have even equipped it on my units and completed the quest as intended.

Could you attach a screenshot with the problem?
