Since I've searched through this forum and found no solution for my problem, I start a new thread.



1. I Built it my Way. I won six times after changing game presets and didn't get the achievement. Actually, I've changed everything possible at map and game condition section (even map generation numbers), but none of the combinations took an effect.

2. Maxed Out. I've activated all the last levels in the Empire Plan simultaneously and consequently. No achievement...

3. BFFs. The bar in Steam doesn't even start to fill itself, after I arrange an alliance with another faction. Does it matter, that everytime my ally was Roving Clans faction?



Thank you in advance. If I need any savefiles to be attached, please explain me, how t get'em.

"build it my way" is by changing the type of generation not the specific details, if you look to the right underneath the preview of your generation there should be a small tab where you can chose the options default, scattered, new world and symetrical.



don't know about "maxed out" try with the normal cultist and uninstall any mods you might be running.



"bff's" is one of the hardest achievements to get since you need to be in an alliance and never have an alliance broken from anyone in the game and win the game also this needs to be done with your first win in a game (you can't do a diffrent kind of victory later on in the same save file to have the required amount of time since the turn timer resets when you reach victory conditions also I think you must do it in one sitting but i might be wrong with that one)



also I tried multiple games to get 'bff's' but only succeeded after 5 or 6 games

2. Maxed Out. I've read at steam forums, that the achievement may be working without any expansions. I've to give it a try.

3. BFFs. The problem is with inactive counter. I was playing 1x1 Drakken against Roving Clans and have concluded alliance on turn 80 (I suppose so). Finished the game on 190. Tha counter in Steam is still on 0. How can it be? My alliance wasn't from the heart?))) Well, I must confess... I was terrorizing them with privateers)))

it might be that the achivement can't be gotten with factions with the trait "make trade not war" because they never have a valid reason to break allaince or doesn't work on 2 player maps.



to be honest i never completed it with roving clans allies but with a vaulter one even though I though I had the requirments completed before with roving clans.



also steam counter resets to zero when outside of every game i was in but starts counting once in the game not certain what was happening there.
